This is the last week of the operation baby weight-loss and honestly, last week I fell off a little bit due to it being my husbands birthday and then Fathers Day celebrations. I have however realized that this is something I will continue FOREVER. Now that I am over the accelerator phase, it makes things SO MUCH easier and I’m still seeing the weight loss fall off.
I’m starting over on July 1st because I am sorta needing the new start without missing a beat. I also realized, that even if a holiday comes up in the future, I don’t have to stop the process. This diet or like I call it, lifestyle change, allows you to have cheat days! One of the things that has helped me has been cooking the food in advance like on Sunday. This way, I know my dinner is already ready and all I have to focus on is cooking for my kids or husband. Thats the other surprising thing, they have been eating with me 50% of the time. Some of the recipes even toddlers like! At least my toddlers. :-)
It also allows you to eat carbs and I love me some carbs! Check out this quote below!
“Having carbs in the evening is also a great weight loss strategy. When you’re active, your body burns mainly carbohydrates and muscle glycogen for energy. By eating carbs at night, you allow your body to use them to restore glycogen for energy the next day and provide your body with the glucose it needs to regulate your blood sugar levels during sleep.”
