5 Tips To Prepare Your Home For A Newborn Baby

#1 : Organize a space in your bedroom just for the baby. You will need all the essential close to your bed so you won’t have to walk to far. Trust me when I say, people don’t share enough on the recovery part of pregnancy. You can barely walk right after delivering so make sure everything is close by in an organized way. We used a bassinet with a small organizer nearby.

#2: Make sure all your breast-feeding or formula feeding needs are somewhere close! Not only will you not get much sleep the REASON for that is because your baby will fed A TON in the beginning. So keep your nipple creams, formula, a few bottles, breastpads, etc all close by.

#3: Get Your Home Deep Cleaned Before The Baby Comes! This will help make sure all those little germs are out because babies are super sensitive to everything, even though breastmilk is liquid gold, babies can still get the snuffles.

#4: Purchase a NATURAL air purifier! Don’t worry about those big bulky air purifiers! Get one that is natural and throw out the odor eliminating sprays. I found BISOU NATURAL and these are super cute. They look like this:

How cute are these?! Just put them around your home and they remove odor AND purify the air! Check them HERE! I highly recommend these!

#5: Take a moment AWAY from your baby every now and then. Get some ice cream or read a book. Trust me, you need it. Motherhood can be all consuming but you MUST have some alone time for yourself. Yes..even this is preparing your home. Have great one and again CONGRATULATIONS!!
